SPOTLIGHT ON: GO, DOG. GO!   Netflix upcoming children's series, “Go, Dog. Go!” is a DreamWorks-supported show following the adventures of a puppy named “Tag Barker.” Based on the best selling children's book of the same name written and illustrated by P. D. Eastman.  The series follows the adventures, actions and interactions of a group of dogs, who operate cars in pursuit of work and a dog party.  Watch this space for updates.

SPOTLIGHT ON: CASTLE IN THE GROUND   One of our films we researched and completed the script reports for is showing at the Toronto International Film Festival.   Castle in the Ground is a poignant drama surrounding the Opioid crisis in Canada. From “The Other Half” director, Joey Klein, brings us a new intimate story about addiction and co-dependency. Starring Alex Wolff (Hereditary) who falls into the orbit of his charismatic neighbor Imogen Poots (Roadies) in Sudbury. Two lost souls befriend each other as they struggle with their own addiction during the opioid crisis in Canada. We just landed this series to work on the Script Clearance Reports. For an already established show, it makes some things a littler easier. However, we're excited to start tackling the reports for the upcoming series.  Johnny Test is an American-Canadian animated television series produced by Warner Bros. The film centres on Brody, a once revered kid detective, who spends his days solving trivial mysteries while hungover and wallowing in self-pity. However, everything changes when a distraught Sophie Nelisse, asks for his help to solve the brutal murder of her boyfriend. Our researcher Erin can't wait to tackle the report and start researching. We enjoyed working on the script reports as a team and cannot wait to see Alexandra light up the screen.

SPOTLIGHT ON: THE LAST KIDS ON EARTH   Max Brallier's best selling post-apocalyptic book series, "The Last Kids on Earth" was aquired by Atomic cartoons in 2017 and in February 2018, Netflix ordered the adaptation with Brallier participating in the series as creator and executive producer.  The Zombie series stars Jack Sullivan, who will be voiced by Nick Wolfhard, a foster child and optimistc loner. He finds himself abandoned in an end of the world zombie apocalypse. He thrives on freedom, no responsibility, junk food and video games all the while building a team of with his classmates to fight off zombies as well as a cocophany of campy monsters who have also somehow appeared. John Cassini plays Jim, a man struggling with the loss of his teenage daughters death, who is seeking comfort in all the wrong places, becomes infatuated with a young escort, Nikki, played by Teagan Vincze.

The film is a 105 Minute journey unfolding in real time. Starring Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers as Alia, and Violet Nelson as Rosie who embark on a revelatory odyseey.

Our clients are very special to us and we treat every project with the utmost respect and diligence. One script we were intrigued with is  #Fonzo . Directed by Jay Karas, The Main Event follows an 11-year-old aspiring Wrestler (Carr) who enters a competition to become the next WWE superstar after finding a magical mask. One of our researchers, Erin, is currently working on the script clearance report. The Main Event is set to be released in 2020.

SPOTLIGHT ON: KENNETH J. HARVEY   Congratulations to our good friend Kenneth J. Harvey for his TV Series “Pill Factory” which is in development with Kafka Pictures and under his company Island Horse Productions. Kenneth is a well known documentary director, whose film “  Immaculate Memories: The Uncluttered Worlds of Christopher Pratt   ”  was nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Feature Length Documentary. So excited for this series!

Congratulations to our good friend Kenneth J. Harvey for his TV Series “Pill Factory” which is in development with Kafka Pictures and under his company Island Horse Productions. Kenneth is a well known documentary director, whose film “Immaculate Memories: The Uncluttered Worlds of Christopher Prattwas nominated at the Canadian Screen Awards for Best Feature Length Documentary. So excited for this series!

SPOTLIGHT ON: FIREFLY LANE   I'm a KEEN BEAN! We're so excited to start working on the script clearance reports for  Netflix 's FIREFLY LANE! We're huge  Katherine Heigl  fans and we cannot wait to see her shine.  Firefly Lane is based on  Kristin Hannah 's novel of the same name. Heigl will also Executive Produce the series alongside a team of awesome female creators such as Maggie Friedman who will serve as show-runner.

I'm a KEEN BEAN! We're so excited to start working on the script clearance reports for Netflix's FIREFLY LANE! We're huge Katherine Heigl fans and we cannot wait to see her shine.

Firefly Lane is based on Kristin Hannah's novel of the same name. Heigl will also Executive Produce the series alongside a team of awesome female creators such as Maggie Friedman who will serve as show-runner.

SPOTLIGHT ON: LOUDERMILK   Our excitement continues with the announcement of "Loudermilk" Season 3! We've had so much fun reading the scripts and clearing them for production. One of our favorite shows to work on. Completely hooked with the series and all of the characters.  Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes of the half-hour comedy.  ““I couldn’t be happier going back to work on the third season of Loudermilk,” said Farrelly. “I’m working with hilarious and talented actors on the most writer-friendly network in town.””

SPOTLIGHT ON: LOUDERMILK

Our excitement continues with the announcement of "Loudermilk" Season 3! We've had so much fun reading the scripts and clearing them for production. One of our favorite shows to work on. Completely hooked with the series and all of the characters.

Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes of the half-hour comedy.

““I couldn’t be happier going back to work on the third season of Loudermilk,” said Farrelly. “I’m working with hilarious and talented actors on the most writer-friendly network in town.””

SPOTLIGHT ON: SEE   Jason Momoa stars in Apple TV+'s upcoming 10 part series titled, SEE. Written by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and Directed by Francis Lawrence (The Hunger Games). The scripts were amazing and we CAN'T WAIT to SEE it on screen. Momoa stars as Baba Voss, a fearless warrior, living in a future where civilization has lost one of the 5 senses: SIGHT.  “Written by Knight and directed by Lawrence, See is described as an epic, world-building drama set in the future”
